| The new Megasat XTR GLOBECAST is a great box for free-to-air satellite channels. It has Galaxy 19 at 97 west pre-installed. You can make multiple favorite lists with this box, to store your most watched channels. You can rename and move channels easily. This box is good quality and the full feature remote control works well. However, you cannot use it for paid subscription because card reader is disabled, it is Free-to-air only.
Some free channels you can receive on 97 west are over 30 Arabic channels, 2 Moroccan channels, 1 Algerian channel, African channels like the Mali channel ORTM, Turkish channels, sports channels like Abu Dhabi Sports, Al Kass, Kuwait 3, religious channels like Al Sunnah Al Nabawiyah, Al Quran Al Kareem, childrens cartoons like Smile of a Child TV, news programs like Al Jazeera English, Russia Today, 4 Vietnamese channels like VTV 4, and Saigon TV, 7 Thai channels, Portuguese channels like RTP Internacional America, 3 Armenian channels like US Armenian and AMGA. These channels may change, so please check current listings for all available channels.
This is also the same receiver that can be used to pick up over 25 Christan video channels over 10 Christian radio channels. They call it the Glorystar satellite package and it contains such popular channels like Daystar TV, 3 ABN, The Church Channel, Hope Channel, TBN, God's Learning Channel, Emmanuel TV, CTN, GCN TV and many more.
