What is a Dish Pro Adapter?
DishPro adapters allow you to use a Legacy receiver with DishPro switches and LNBF's.
Legacy Receivers include
Models 7200 & 7100 (DISHPlayer), 6000, 5000, 4900,
4700, 4000, 3900, 3800, 3700, 3000, 2800, 2700, 2000, 1000
and JVC D-VHS
Why Install a DishPro Adapter:
Legacy receivers (those that do not have the DishPro logo) can be used with DishPro switches and LNBF's only if there is a DishPro adapter between the LNBF (or switch) and the receiver.
Note: Do NOT use a DishPro adapter with a DishPro receiver as this will cause the receiver to lose its signal and you will be unable to view programming. |
